Re: Rudder Controls Question

You are saying the solid piece goes inside the 1 inch EMT basically where it sits in the first pillow block then? I'll have to see if the one machine shop we have can do something like that. Thanks! James, no weld was involved at all when the shaft broke the first time, exactly like AK bent and brok...

Rudder Controls Question

Mine has the main shaft out of 1 inch EMT. The first one that came with the used boat cracked. So I welded up an exact copy. That one broke in half on the horizontal part right next to a pillow block. I was hoping to find same OD in galv but 1 inch galv is way bigger than 1 inch EMT. I have no clue ...

Some Texans still pushing for wade paddle pole areas.

posted this in the TX forum as it affects us mostly, but thought I'd copy it to here, just to show they work at this stuff in all states evidently. I often wonder if they still ride horses to work too.... Sent this to our email list, and have made the comments there too, we've seen the call from TPW...

Re: Sen. Estes @ Holiday Hills Country Club TX 10-27-11 @ 7P

I"d love to make that one, unfortunately I"m booked up for the next 2 weekends solid, building fence on one, due to low water issues and cattle getting stuck and so can't change those plans. Thats the great thing about a big enough orginization, some folks out of the group should be able to make it....

The hard part is getting em close as I don't shoot past ...

Boaters from Wasilla

Stopped in Glennallen last week to talk to a nice couple going up to the Maclaren River for a moose/caribou hunt with their airboat. Had a new LS6 in it. Totally forgot the names but would like to talk to them again if possible to ask some questions. If anyone might know who they are. Drove a sorta ...

I'll be out a bit, off for vacation for a bit, in case anyone needs to get hold of TAA chase down Lee/Tom in the meantime. I've had it with the heat... time to head north a ways and cool off. Well it doesn't take much of an excuse for me to pack bags and head to Alaska in the fall if I can manage it...
