I seen on here someone posted a comment that they new someone who makes pistons, I'm looking into 10-1/2 pistons for a 520 cannot see paying $2,000 for pistons, that's just off the wall.
I pulled the mags yesterday and reset the points, started right up, went out today after all the fog and morster and it seemed to startup fine, need timing mark plugs on mags. Hope it's fixed, wanting to go ride Saturday at Hernando.
I'm going to silicone wires going into the cap to see if that helps to keep moisture out. Had it running for 30 minutes and was running good shut it off an hour later I went back to it and it wouldn't run. Crazy
The mags were rebuilt when the motor was, don't hardly have any hours on it. It's been a couple years, I don't think I put a set in my other boat In ten years . And I un plugged the mags.
Here is some crap, every time my motor gets wet and sets for a little bit it will not start, no spark at all I've cleaned the points evertime it's happened, really don't think that was the problem, it's not just one mag it's both, all the years I've been doing this never ran into this.
I only run av gas, just wondering if it is worth the trouble, he'll it goes where I point it now. It should be around 300hp as it is at 2850 rpm so what's the gain you think.

I had a crack head on my race car and it would delete all the water out of the radiator into the oil pan but it won't do it all the time and it took awhile to find the crack in the head, get another set of heads.
