Re: AN AIRCRAFT ENGINE WILL WIN UNLIMITED AT NEXT RACE!

Maybe they wouldn't miss a T64-416 at work. Even comes with its own gearbox! Even at 4380 hp nobody wins without a Sensenich! :stirpot:

Re: Poly rivits

Grip gauge says 1/8 x 1/2 countersunk. 100 degree gives you more aggressive grip with a smaller head size. 78 degree gives you less agressive grip but with a substantially larger overall head size. my vote would be for 78 degree. Maybe the pro's will chime in.

Re: Which one, and why?

I really want a Mossberg 510 Turkey THUGS pump. 20 ga is perfect for training kids/grandkids. Lightweight and small for the boat/buggy/truck/tractor and short for home defense. The camo finish is durable and corrosion resistant. Its not gonna duck hunt like a Benelli or an Ithaca or defend like a pi...

Re: Why Not A Crate Engine?

Stock bottom ends on those gen 4 motors ain't no joke. Got a buddy with an 80mm ( yes 80 ) trim turbo on a 6.2 in a Silverado and all he did was ARP rod bolts. Twists the rollers to the tune of 700 hp. Some have taken them well past that. And that's with a solid junkyard Escalade motor. Dollar for d...

Re: Why Not A Crate Engine?

I am new here, but did a search recently and came up with nothing. Multiple users here state that there are different "specs' (used loosely) for airboat applications but I cant find anything concrete. To me, a cam with a very broad rpm range for hp/tq production seems like the only explanation....

Re: New Join Checking In

Thanks. Looking at the Lycoming O-360. Any bad tells I should be looking for? I can't afford a Junior Jernigan but I don't wanna buy junk either.

New Join Checking In

Hi all, New to the airboating world. I recently got into a Franny Taylor 10' 6" that needs redone. Previous owner (my brother) started a build and got impatient so he bought an 11' Thurman out of the classifieds here. The build will comence when I get back to the land of sunshine and should be ...
