Re: Excalibur Noise

LOL. Gotta love the way you go all internet drama queen with the red text. Classic!
BTW, how's that $35K sled doing with the thrumping prop? Is it running any better than it did when you bought it for 10K? LOL....

Re: Excalibur Noise

Hay Diggin, Thrumming...Thrumping...who cares except you, doosh? Its only a word you made up anyway. LOL. You missed the point. Think about it, you're the one who put the wrong prop on your boat, now you whine on a daily basis about it. haha. I'm tired of reading your whiny posts here. Go cry in the...

Re: Crabs in the glades?

Fishing out of Chokoloskee and Everglades City we used to boat way back up the Turner river where the salinity was low. almost fresh water. Find a mud bottom creek and tie a string around chicken necks. fish it on the bottom until you feel the crabs tugging on it. Pull it up real slow and you can ne...

Re: Big Trouble Brewing?

This is the funniest thread ever! Guy starts a thread asking for help with his engine. Then proceeds to get bashed for being a world class dummy, a boat flipper, and all around dumba$$ in the airboating community. I have to wonder myself, who really is responsible if someone flips another person's b...

I don't care what the others say about you diggin, I still love you, man! You did me the biggest favor and you don't even know it. I almost bought that boat but you beat me to it.

Re: New Airboat

I've been interested in Dragonfly boats for a few years. It looks like your build is the aluminum one? Maybe has polymer? I'm curious about one thing. What cruise speed and top end speed does it get with the Suzuki and say two passengers and an average load of say an extra 100 lbs?

Re: porpoising

Sympathetic reaction! Whatever your left arm and hand do in an emergency situation, it's likely your right arm and hand will follow. That's not good for an airboat application. Stay with a foot throttle.

Re: Prop Dealers

I feel for ya Diggin. Especially when someone else is to blame for your misfortunes. Might wanna try a 6 blade warp on a double hub. Off set blades with slightly different pitches. Set up like a 3 blade bowtie if you could imagine. My boy runs one set up like that on his boat, and it pushes like Ndo...

Don't be too hard on the 'Fool' Scramble. He's probably still upset that he has over 30K invested in his sled and it still can't go faster than 45 mph.... :stirpot: You wish. Less than $18K in it and goes 63 with an Excalibur. You obviously speak out of your AceHole, pinhead. That 'Fool' is a craft...

Re: concealed weapon

By any chance do you clean your weapon with Hoppe's cleaning solvent? If you do, don't use it on the magazine. It has been proven to get between the primer and casing and cause exactly what you described. Use compressed air to clean the inside of the magazine, and carefully wipe the outside then wip...

Re: Country of California??WTF

Initially, that made perfect sence to me. That way the next time some "Jit" gets himself shot by running his mouth and waving a fake gun, the "reverend" al sharpton will have a much harder time convincing the masses the cop was at fault. Here is the problem: the punks can just paint their real guns...

Re: The first place you ever ran an Airboat?

1981. Put in at 40 mb in 3a south. Ran the inside trail towards the tower where I promptly hit a tree and caved in the starboard side of my PB hull. Continued on to the east west canal toward the end of the L-28 levee where I began taking on water from the damage. Ended up sinking it at the middle p...

Re: To The Guy With The Direct Drive LS In 3A

If some here think prop wash is bad, they'd really hate me when I come running down the canal from the end of the levee toward the tower, jumping every plug. I don't come off plane until I land it in the sawgrass at the corner. May even be some lawn chair casualties along the way...... :stirpot:

Re: Does this sound fishy?

The story is similar to the usual scam. But, the OP said she told him a cash deal was doable. Why not meet her at a bank and let the bank clear the cash money. I sold a boat at a bank once for that very reason, and all was well.

(Sometimes, it got scary, like when we met someone dressed in a 1970s lavender jumpsuit with pink Crocs, John Deere green fingernails and a swami turban hat who was staggering drunk and driving a maroon Toyota pick-up truck at 9:30 on a Tuesday morning.) That sounds like the crazy dude from Pinecres...
