I see. I only wonder this cause I notice that in a truck you hardly ever run steady over 2k it seems.

Re: Car motor longevity

Ps. Trying not to open a can of worms. Don’t want to read a pissing match between the to. I simply wanna hear from other car motor owners who have longevity on their rigs.

Car motor longevity

Curious as to how many people have logged a lot of hours on their car motors? Trying to gauge the reliability of them holding up to the abuse. I’m typically running 2,800 to 3,000 to cruise and 3,800 to 4,500 on the ground depending on conditions. Ran with some a/c boys that had me cursing at 3,600 ...

Re: Fuel pump : electric vs manual

I’ll have to look to see how it is routed. I can say that I can tell a difference with the new one installed. Seems to idle stronger if that makes sense.

Anyone using their center console for duck hunting

Was wondering if anyone is using their white center console for duck hunting. Last season, I saw someone on Kissimmee with some kind of blind/cover fitting on a bay style, white boat. I was wondering how things are working for you if you use this style. I have a 16’ CC that I would like to somehow r...

Re: Airboat Ride

On the weekend I like to drive, ride, slide, float, paddle, tow,or troll my airboat. The loud motor, bright paint, and whirl of the prop help me forget the Monday through Friday grind.

Sometimes I let it puuuur in the backyard so the neighbors can join in to

Your nice, bright, and freaking blinding LED spot lights. You are really manly with all the brightness and own the river at night with your setup. You are a genius by placing it in a manner so I can’t see your nav lights and I can only see a freaking spot light apparoaching me and can’t judge where ...

Re: Any luck filling tags?

Haven’t had any luck trying to stalk alligators. When joyriding in airboat I have been able to basically park next to a gator and watch them pop to the surface. Is this because of the vibrations? For whatever reason I have been hooking up to the center console to gator hunt. Maybe try the airboat ne...

Looked and looked and looked but only seen a handful of tiny frogs. Tried the Lilly pads, tried the grass, tried he marsh. If I was gettin spiders...
