Re: slick bottom

I have Gatorglide on my boat and yes it is slick. I am sure that Quickslick, Frog Spit and some other secret coatings are just as slick but the one thing that puts Gatorglide in a class of its own is that you do not have to flip the boat over to apply, if you scratch it to the alum or glass on Satur...

Re: bending t bars & sheet advice

drill the holes in the t-bar before you bend the t-bar. it is much easier to do them in the drill press. dont worry about the hole getting oblong in the bend, you will be putting a drill bit thru those holes 4-5 times before you are done and when you buck the rivets it will mushroom in the holes. on...

Re: Help bending alum angle?

yobee, If you can get free metal, try to find some .032, cut a piece 9' long and 1.5 " wide. Put it in a brake and bend it to 90 degrees and then use a metal stretcher and form it to the radius you want it. consider drilling your holes in the part of the angle that will attach to the rudder its...

Re: Help bending alum angle?

midnight rider,

Dave Powell has made the rudders you described for 30 years that I know of and in my opinion are the best air foil rudders available.

Yes it is just preference.

Re: Help bending alum angle?

yobee, The alum angle that was on Cowboys rudder was .032 and that size is very easy to work with and mold into shapes that you want. The angle you have pictured probally will not stretch enough to make the bend you want. Not saying it cant be done but if it can it will be difficult. Cowboys entire ...

I will sell you this sheet for whatever it would cost me to get a new one delivered to me. If you are interested I will call Phil Lamb on Tuesday and get a price. Let me k...

Check out http://www.natureshead.net/ for the composting toilet. We have one of these, well built and inexpensive, $1000.00 delivered to my door. NRA has an insurance program also for camps. Chester, have you sent a copy to Charles Moorhead to have him look over ? Just wondering if this is the same ...

CONTINENTAL CRACKER, I like the idea of the BLUE stuff not expanding when it gets hot...... Putting polymere on in my garage instead of the hot sun sounds great. The price sounds better also. I would like something wider that 5 ft but if it is the slickest, I would put it on my boat. Thanks for the ...
