I have a 434 with 13.2 compression. I run open breathers one on each side about 6 inches tall and I have no problems with oil seeping out of them

If your tank does not have an extra bung, they have weld on bungs that you can buy. You have to flush your tank out a bunch of times and even then most welding shops won't weld one on. I just went through this when I built a bigger motor and had to redo my entire fuel system

Lake ashby

Just wondering if anyone rides in lake ashby in New Symrna. I changed a few things on the boat and thought about going there and testing. I have never been there but it is a lot closer then puzzle lake area

I'm running a 400 block, stroked to 434. Stock block 13.2-1 compression. I run E-85. With 4 people on the boat it runs 160 degrees all day long

Ya I will have to look into going bigger over the winter but for now I'll just watch the tach. No reason to turn high rpms. Not racing. Just crusing with the family

I def agree on needing bigger blades or even 4 blades. Just trying to use what I have for the summer. The rebuilt def went over budget so trying to just run the boat and have fun for now.

It's what was on the boat and new or bigger blades are not in the budget at this time. I was thinking they were small so should start at 3 but still new at this so just looking for opinions

Hey all, just rebuilt my boat and trying to set the pitch on my prop. I have a 13' db, 4 seat set up top driver and pass seats with seat box. 434ci 650hp with a 2.37 rotator and a 76" 3 blade R series sensinich. On the blades there are 1 2 and 3 marks. Just wandering what a good starting point ...

What is the reference point of making the hull straight. Do I find center line of hull and centerline of engine or do I go cross ways on the hull

With the stock motor it would porpoise so I think I need th put a couple washers under the gear box. I'm a newbe but have a decent understanding

It's a 13-1 motor, Brodix heads, don't remember the can specs but it was for bottom end torque. I am hoping I can use this prop and be ok for about 6-7 months
