This plan has been in the works long before the storms eroded the dykes. This will be the second attempt. The first one, during the 90's, was accomplished but failed. You could drive a buggy all the way to the Monkey box and beyond. The muck all dried it was pushed up and burned. The problem was tha...

Yeah Cowboy it's nasty. Two years ago after the storms passed through,
the whole N.W. shore was a big choc. milk shake. I'm sure that's what they are pumping out. It's poison to an ecosystem.

The place I normally see them only still has the August issues. It's just a joke anymore. I'll still buy it though when I see a new one. And there not really very good. The photos and articles are just lacking. Don't get me wrong some of the contributors are very good. But mostly it pretty much sucks.

West Side they left the pumps on at the South rim of Lake Okeechobee. That freakin fiasco they keep trying to pull. Trop. storm Ernesto reeaally dumped alot of water in the Fisheating Creek area around Palmdale and a large percentage of it went right into the Big O. I understand that they have a pro...

toolman,
tell me how to do two separate mags and the twelve volts to the electrical system. You would need three kill switches. There is no way to run them on the same kill switch. Any ideas?

It would be easy to set up for automotive. But how would you setup an aircraft? Your dealing with mags that are grounded separately and maybe an electric fuel pump.

Olf, I'm not familiar with the Duramax as with the 7.3, 6.0. And I'm not a mechanic either, I have access to certain service issues with the Powerstoke engines. There are issues and stay away from used vehicles. But you talk with some owners and their trucks have been in the shop more than they have...

The 7.3 is a better engine than the 6.0. The 6.0 was short lived and due to be replaced with a larger displacement engine by Navistar. Right now the Duramax engines are doing real well. I have a customer that is getting 19-22 hwy and 16-18 loaded. Of course everbody's load weights are different so I...

There used to be a manufaturer that used a DD ford v6. They had a camshaft that would up the hp. I cannot remember the name of the manufacturer. It seems the weight was close to a six cylinder aircraft. Anybody know which Ford v6? I think it was a 3.8 liter v-6. That engine would have a smaller disp...

None of the manufacturers seem to offer one. Why? I'd like to see one manufactured. From the posts on the forum here a three blade would reduce a significate amount of vibration. Even be quieter. Maybe the demand is not there for the expense of manufacture. Still I wonder if the idea has been tested.

That's pretty good info. I just had my cylinders rebuilt. When I tore down the carbon was built up in combustion chamber and on top of the pistons.
I was wondering about that.

I have a Browning BPS. I bought it for duck hunting back in 1987. It came with a varible choke tube barrel. Although I haven't hunted with it in years now it was always reliable and I still let a buddy of mine use it to go turkey hunting every year.

What is your elevation? Florida boats operate at sea level so most aircraft boats are tied off at the lean/rich lever. It does sound like it's running lean. Your plugs are definitely getting to hot and will continue igniting fuel if you are trying to shut down using the mags. The lean/rich mixture c...
