Wow! You guys are getting personal. I think Cracker0320 has been around awhile and knows a little about airboats. He was the first to start an airboat online community in Yahoo Groups back in 2001. The first. I do not think he was malicious in his post of that picture. The fact that someone took it ...

I'll bet a four-stroke blender will get better fuel economy and will be
a heck of alot quieter than a two stroke one...

Scooter How's the Mazda engine? I know a fellow that has one in a homebuilt aircraft. He used the Mazda transmission for gear reduction and likes to fly with it. The airboat you referred to, is it quiet? It must have some form of reduction on it? The rotary Mazda engine is light and probably would b...

Larry,
It looks good. Are you going to support the system
with some sort of hanger or is the transom and engine
enough to do the job? I am trying to retrofit mufflers
into my boat and just wondering.
Sweet though I'll bet it sounds good when it's done.

Didn't the guy have the right of way? Isn't it illegal to pass on the inside? If you were a car behind the guy you would have yielded. Or even on a motorcycle. Those cyclists are all over Sarasota and they seem to think that the line is one traffic entity when each individual bicycle is one. Am I mi...

Whoa! Letter number 1 was written by a real pro there. My mother, who has been around airboats since her and my father bought their first one in 1963, wouldn't be able to give you any kind of information like that about any airboat(powerloading,700-1000 hp,etc.). I certainly hope our legislature can...

I have the same problem with my o-320-e2d. I tried the no blo gaskets and they still leaked. My header flanges would sit nice and flat on a smooth surface. I changed to the Airborne copper gasket where you use two per cylinder and it seems to have solved my problem. Here is an article that I found. ...

Look up Pomcor Inc http://www.pomcor.net/index.htm These turnovers are what they do. Take from weak struggling companies and turn them into real estate. They are definitely in with the state, allowing SWFMD to broker high yield real property for their gain. This should be illegal. But was approved b...

Wow! What a lop sided deal! The land parcel along Hwy78 between Okeechobee City and Lakeport is lowland and real estate with no where near the value that has been placed upon it. I just can't believe that our state would allow our tax funds, "Funds will be reimbursed from either the Save Our Evergla...
