Re: ECOTEC vs SBC vs O-540, A Power to Weight Ratio Discussi

Keep in mind that if I went with the Ecotec, I would be looking for more performance than either of the engines you mentioned. Those packages that you mention, other than fuel economy, won't match a 200 and would weigh considerably more. I would be really interested if there is a package that would...

Re: ECOTEC vs SBC vs O-540, A Power to Weight Ratio Discussi

A 0-540, or an eco tech would be dangerous on a sled like that in the wrong hands. Even a 200 is if the driver doesn't have the the skill and experience to handle it.
An accident waiting to happen.

Ya dig?

Re: ECOTEC vs SBC vs O-540, A Power to Weight Ratio Discussi

Diggin if you really wanted it, it can be done. The only way I would go with it is if it made sense. It doesn't make sense to do it just for the sake of doing it. The smaller NA motors have approximately the same HP and dimensions (length-wise) as my H2AD or even an O-360 but weigh considerably mor...

It also helps if the NAADR could plan their 2015 race season NOW This time of year is college football, hunting seaon, and a ton of other events going on that would compete with attendance. Plus location location location. It's not so bad for a lot of you guys but Hog Waller is a long way for every...

I've been running boats for almost 20 yrs now and all my boats were and are 13 foot or less with aircrafts. I've noticed that my running has changed I'm not beating the ground all hours of the night killing hogs or poaching deer and find myself joy riding and hanging out in the shade or swimming ho...

Raise the rear of the to bring the bow up. Try it a little at a time. To much can make it hop.

Dave, i don't look at it as highjacking. I think it is good info for us to post our pricing and what all you get for your money. The readers can make an educated decision on what they want. Thanks, Chuck I agree. This thread has been informative. I do not think waterthunder's post jacked anything. ...
