any comments on this design?

just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this concept? it would probably not shine in the swamps but im thinking it would work well as a smaller boat for basic transportation in ice, snow, water.

Re: just a great picture

it was taken on the shore of Georgian bay Canada, as you look at a map of the great lakes its the large body of water attached to lake Huron. geographically the area considered part of the Canadian shield (just a name for all the granite rock and islands).

I'm a few days away but as soon as I get it out I'll through up a few pictures. I got land locked and am waiting for the ice to come in so I can get out to the shop.

Thanks again for all the extrawork you guys did to get that motor to me.

Alternator fuse

Just doing the last it of wiring on my new ride and am not sure what size fuse to put on the alternator charge lead. Do I match the fuse to the alternator output ie 70 amp output = 70 amp fuse or is that too much fuse?
Thanks for the help,
Will

Re: Cold starting Temp

are you running a ma 4/5? you might want to check/ replace the throttle pump in the carb. i start in up to -10 without troubles so i'm guessing it has more to do with the carb and becomes more noticable in cooler temperature.

Re: Bed liner on inside of hull

i put gator gaurd on the inside of my fiberglass hull. it added a lot of weight but the biggest problem was grinding it off when i had to do some fiberglass repair. it looked great and held up well but i wouldn't do it again.

Re: 470-13 mags

thanks gary,
is it the insides (spark and timing) that may be a problem or is it about the way they would mount to the motor?

if they fit on the motor can i try them or could i pre detonate or maybe even do some valuve damage?.
