On my Continental fuel injection I use an electric fuel pump to get it all primed up then shut it off before cranking. The mechanical takes care of it from there. I think some people use primer bulbs to achieve the same thing. As far as I know the Lycoming should work the same way. so in other word...

Lycoming fuel injection pump??????

Does the high pressure fuel pump on my lyc. fuel injected engine need a lift pump to pump fuel up to it from the fuel tank or is it designed to take care of that itself i know on my diesel it has a lift pump to supply the high pressure pump thats why i was wondering about the aircraft engine

be careful not to go too high on those sides it makes it harder to crawl out after youve fallen into or gone to sleepy in the bottom of the boat

250.00 for one mag may be a little rich but for two you are the one loosing money. There are some people out there that will not be happy even if you paid them, THEY ARE CALLED DEMOCRATS AND YOU SEE WHAT THEY GOT US FOR 4 YEARS. hE!! you could have gold plated them and he would have been an A$$hole...

a fella brought a boat by the other day with mag problems ask if i could go thru them and get the boat running SO itook the mags out of the engine completely rebuilt them top to bottom front to back new parts included points condensers oil seals 1 dist gear and an impulse spring put a nice paint job...

that is a really nice setup in the picture but that engine was done by greg mccloud for darrel starks at elkhorn valley airboats a few years ago in nebraska

I am putting a carb on my 520 Cont. (took off injection system) I have the chance to buy an MA-4-5 Part #10-5054 the seller says he thinks the carb is off a 6cyl. Lyc. but he is not sure. JASOND THE B8RS plugs were the oem plugs on the gpu they are an aircraft style plug with an automitive type electrode el reno avaition in el reno ok used to sell them as surplus parts for 6 bucks a piece but if you dont have aircraft plug wires they wont do you much good and i am not sure el reno st...

The resturant at cypress is going to reopen with the new owners but it will be a while they are going to do some major remodeling and changes it also sounds like the DEP wont let them serve food on the outside deck anymore good ol DEP! just cant leave things alone
