Re: Your first time; when and where?
I was only a few months old, when my grandpa the original "OL' MAN JONES" Put me on his lap and took me out giggin at Mack's Fish Camp and we used to go to Andy town, area2 and Thompsons Park area and south of the loop. Those days growing up out here were priceless and it is a real shame t...

Re: 350 cam choice
I have used, Comp Cams 12236-3 marine xtreme K-kits in the past on my 355's and loved the all out performance. throttle response thru all rpm is really snappy and makes good torque. With proper complimenting heads and pistons, I would say you could easily make 400 hp and 415 tq. Although, I will agr...

Re: Gear Box ?
Ya can call Dan at Stinger.... or Sam at Panther, they both usually have 2nd hand boxes for sale with "as-new" warranties. Unfortunately, most gearboxes for sale in the private market are someone elses problem and allways worth as much as the factory reconditioned ones. If you get...

I also would agree with the guys about 75 - 41 and coming across Tmiami trail. However I would recommend making a right at 1)Monroe station and cutting across LOOP RD ., 1 of only 5 T C P's (traditional cultural properties) You can stop in at 2 )Everglades Sportsmans Club while there. After finishin...

Re: propeller tracking
That's alot of tracking differience! The 10 grams is livable, but 3/4" is gonna destroy the bearings, possibly crank of whatever it is attached to and mabey even wipe out the prop all together. Try to afford a good used Whirlwind or Seinsenich. JMHO

Re: Torque for crank and prop bolts
Adapter to crank should be 50-60 ft. lbs
Prop bolts should never exceed 35 ft. lbs on a wood prop.
Start with 30 at prop run on trailer a couple minutes re-torque to 35 run and recheck torque agian.
Allways use Never Sieze on hub-crank bolts.
PM me if you need more advise.

I would like to get together some time and go over your knowledge of the Glades and it's surrounding areas. I am a native and consider myself lucky to have grown up in the everglades. I am impressed with your knowledge of the water cycle and the effects of man on/in our prescious everglades. Please ...

Re: vortec 4.3 rotator 2.32 box
Depending on H.P., cam and rigging clearance, a 74-78" paddle prop & 38-48* of pitch ( a 78LR44 is standard for a 2:1 and a 350) so with your ratio and a well built 4.3 that's close to the right prop for you. If you don't have clearance then go to a 72 or 74 48 or 50 pitch. JMO Hope this he...

( customer service 2nd to none )
Stinger 2.37 reduction
