I run quite a bit in the dark. Esp. in the early spring and fall when the days are shorter. Every AB I have driven or rode in the headers will glow when viewd in the dark. I wouldn't suspect overly high egt's. I would be concerned if you hear pinging. The pop from the carb came during ideling or und...

One moose, no problem there. My boat is 16x7 with 350hp 350 and 2:1 belt. Can drive away with 3 men and a moose from grassy dry ground or the baseball sized cobble on the river bars up here. Boat runs deep water with that load at about 3400 rpms. Shallow much less r's. I drag the moose into the boat...

Having computer issues due to switching heads doesn't sound like fun. I want as much reliability as I can get. I run at times about 70 miles from any source of help. My motor makes good power so I will leave it alone.

Thought the weight savings would be a plus, also more power, right? It is a great motor, not looking to hack on it only make it a little stronger

aluminum heads

My boat has a 350 ram jet crate motor in it. Any of you guys run that motor with aluminum heads on it? I have cast iron vortecs right now but am thinking of upgrading

my boat has dual station steering. One mounted on the cage and a lower one mounted low towards the bow. What info are you after?
