the boat i built for my boy had a old style apache hull front stick single rear seat 72x32 fl air wood prop 325 hp iron heads 11to1 comp 34oo on the water 3100 on ground it was bad for a dd .

nose plow is 1 inch on the stick from wrecking. it seems that over a period of time esp. on boats over 14ft they develop a hook in the bottom . 1or2 jacks across the stringers and you can tune it to ride the way you like.

adrenalin is the reason this site exist ive never seen anyone of question able fortitude driving a airboat no matter the combination, we are all crash test dummies .

has any body heard of acarbon prop failure on a belt drive. because Ive felt that a signifacantly camed engine transfers hammer thru the gear lash directly to the prop asembly causing a secondary harmonic distortion independent of the natural distortion of the rocpacating mass. while a belt isolates...

im not dropping any names but i have heard of 2 boats damaged by recent new hub design i personaly am happy with my tuff hard pushing swoopy props on both my boats,!
