you have the perfect set up for a 3 blade sirius 80 or 82.... would haul a load, have a great cruse and be very Quiet :thumbleft:

been looking at this 2.0 i got in the shop and the tq #s seem good to me .... 11 x 7 dd eco... if i can come up with a thrust control to save the crank. :stirpot: seriously there is a good market for 4 cyl a/c in that size for open hull welded boats if there light?

Torque is what really makes our boat go but for some reason we always talk in terms of HP. Using the formula Torque = (HP*5252)/RPM, I calculated the following for the most popular Lycoming engines: Engine ....HP.......RPM.......FT-LBS O-235.....108........2700........210 O-290.....135........2600.....

Craker 540 ci vs 122 ci .you have 122 ci i 1 and a half cylinders i think the eco deserves a reduction and a baby turbo with very little boost 8)

the ecotecs i have driven will hang with the 540 even a geared one we did a compareson test 2 years ago thrust, speed, ground running, hill climbing ,after running identical routes the brand new 540 with a 1.5 stinger burned 3 times more av fuel at 5.25 per gal as apposed to 3.25 high test in the ec...
