Re: central texas brazos river

I run from granbury dam north and I couldn't imagine its much better down below whitney ? My Air Ranger aluminum hull is pretty beat up from the brazos but I dont think a glass hull would last where I run. Miles and miles of 2-3 inch water , fun but ya gotta know where the rocks are. I'll come down ...

Well. thanks all for the informative answers I got ! I'm also a AirCooled nut and I'm very used to setting total advance so things dont burn up !! 8) Spent all day on the river , only had one hick up- my Murphy switch for engine temp shut me down at 190 deg today , I bumped it up a tad and plan on r...

ZZ4 335 HP Vac Advance ?

I have a ZZ4 Crate engine in my 2001 Air Ranger and noticed the Vacuum advance isn't hooked up at the distributor ? Is that normal ? It should be to ported vacuum right ?

A day on the Brazos.

We loaded up and dropped her in the water around 10 AM , rode 35 miles up river from Lake Granbury via the Brazos to a bit past I-20 . :bounce: Heck of a time , hopped sand bars , logs , rocks and stayed out of the trees. It was a good day on the Brazos ! This Airboatin' deal could get to be a serio...

My Uncle and his buddies were a part of the Texoma Air boat bunch. I know I'm digging up old threads but the club meant a great deal to him and his buddies. I have an article I need to scan and share with all of you .
I'll be on the Brazos.
