Re: O-320 H2AD mag question

My buddy had the same starting issue but his was 2000 series. If you have the 3000 then I would check the mating surface between cap and c...

Re: Setting boat bottom

It also depends what kind of hull it is. Because on some styles a perfectly flat bottom will also make a boat hop. Some have a slight crown to them and others have a vee. You don't want to sand that out.

I know you didn't ask about it but Dom rusts out very fast, so stainless will also last a lot longer.

Get a jimmy white flat bottom and you have the best of both worlds. Still be fiberglass and lite but have the ride and fun drive a deckover has.

Re: Everglades Closed High Water Thanks Mother Nature

For those who don't know, the water level in the grass is an average of lots of places. The level they like to maintain it at is about two feet below what it is now. At least they let us use it a little longer.

Re: Question (Emaergency Generator)

Single phase is what two phase used to be. It doesn't actually mean only one phase. Divide your watts by input voltage and that will give you your generator ampacity. But keep in mind the biggest plug your gonna get on the side of a generator is either 40 or 50 amps. So if you need more than that lo...

If you don't like the flex pipe, Norman Clay makes some awesome headers with the muffler built right on the end.

You shouldn't have a heli coil come out every time you change a spark plug though. What shop did the cylinders come from.

Re: Stephull question

Agreed. Here's something to consider though. The kamikaze is a four inch step and not shaped like any of the modern steps. It's also a six foot step and aluminum and it was pretty fast. I always look toward to hammerheads posts and pics, I think he is knocking on the door of making some really fast ...

Re: Stehull question

I think a six foot is better for all around riding. The longer steps seem to come off a ramp better where as the six seems to plane a little quicker in deeper water. Also sems like the six six and six eight spray a little more probably do to six inches less running area on the step. When checking th...

The grass will give you a surprising amount of lift. And when you see a step hull chattering at a high ra...
