Re: 0360 three blade

I tried a 3 blade 68 super snapper on my 160. I was impressed with the mid range but lost a lot on top end. Ended up putting my warp back on. I always wanted to try a 3 blade 68" h from sensenich cause I thought I could gain on the low end and top end but just haven't done it yet.

I think a lot of it depends what cam you have also some cams like a higher rpm then others. If you know how your motor was built it could help.

Re: What hull?

I have the same motor on a jimmy white flat bottom. If you want to be able to ride out and go fast then I would suggest a flat bottom or a step and stay away from the round bottom hulls.

The six foots would do that around 60 but they usually run out of out it around 70-75. What kind of step do you have, metal ,fiberglass? Two inch step, three inch, four inch?

Re: Warp Drive 4 degrees

68x38 is a 180 prop. If you were turning it 28-2900 before but have to take a five blade 68 down to four to hit 3000 then something is off. Either tach or something else. I'm running the same prop right now 68x38. When my five blade 69 was on it I had it set at 8 degrees to hit 2900. I currently can...
