Re: Thrust testing for Sensenich today!

They are available I just got a 3 blade last week or so. It's a nice looking set up with the locking hub. It will be a few weeks before we get to run it but it looks good. As always Sensenich did a great job!

Re: Boat builder ripoffs.

I don't ask for all the money up front I get 50% down and they make payments on the other half and I do that because I have built boats for guys that don't send money and I get stuck with the boat when they buy a used one from a buddy. Tony you know me and we have some good mutual friends and I bet ...

Re: Are all airboats under power as soon as you start up??

It's the same Ox drive as the non- clutch box other than instead of the flex plate bolting to a soft drive plate the clutch bolts to the flex plate and the shaft goes through the splines into a pilot bushing just like on a vehicle they do chatter more than a regular Ox box but no more than a rotator...

Re: Are all airboats under power as soon as you start up??

We have built 3 boats with the clutch box from Ox drive but we developed a push button system to activate the clutch so you don't have to have a separate clutch pedal. You push the switch forward and it engages the clutch push it back and your in neutral so far we have 60 hours on one of the boats w...

Re: Dry loading air boat

Im not sure about the running start unless your on pretty smooth ground. I usually just nose the boat up to the back of the trailer then give it a little gas. You have to careful not give it to much once they are up on the trailer they will slide pretty easy and you will be in the back of your truck.

No matter who you are or how big or small you are or even what you are doing at, some point your going to have someone get mad and stomp their feet. There are a lot of guys on here and other sites that email me or call me for advise or to ask how something is built or whatever. I can't think of one ...

I don't have a problem with it if it's true but more often than not it isn't in my experience. Also there are a lot of small shops out there that get caught up and take to much in or get over their heads and have the best of intentions. I tell everyone up front I am at the mercy of the hull builder...

Really? You sent a 10k deposit on a 28k build then cancelled a month a little over a month later. You signed a purchase order that plainly states deposits are non refundable it's less than an inch from your signature. I sent you everything but 3 parts anyways, I fully intend on sending the differenc...

Re: Motor/gearbox/prop help

I used that same engine on a 18x8 with a 82 inch R series set on the 2 mark it turned 5000 rpm with a 2.3 Ox drive I think with a longer R series you could put a little more pitch in it to slow the engine down and it still perform well. IMO
