Re: Guess I bought a.lemon.220 gpu..

Mine did the same thing until i finally realized that when i bought my 220 that the GPU oil cooler on it had been painted pretty thick with gray paint. After i changed the oil cooler out it never got over 190 on oil temp. Guess the fins were so blocked up with paint that it couldn't cool right. At l...

Re: Prop for 220

72-32 wood paddle prop spun up to 3000rpm on my 220. 72-34 would have probably been better to get Rpms down some. Pushed really good. Switched to whirlwind 72 inch narrow carbon fiber which also pushed really good with motor turning 2850 rpm. It's on my 520 conversion now and it seems to still have ...

Re: 220/520 conversion by Bowflex

Prop pitched on the mark between 20 and 25 using the B reference line. Turns about 2650 to 2700 WOT. Cruise between 15 to 1800 rpm on plane no problem. Ran the stickey grass loaded down as long as I gunned it and rode it out. Boat has poly also and is pretty heavy. No problem going up hills/ridge. S...

True but not every tom, dick and harry have a credit card machine or pay pal account when just trying to sell something to someone. I'm sure everyone has got that kind of deal happen to them once or twice but just being a man of you word and if you tell someone you will hold it regardless of deposit...

Re: Trash

Trash goes to the camp sites and then leaves behind their spawn which is more trash. I've stopped at a site on the way to a site just to pick up someone's trash because I would have felt bad for leaving it behind just because I saw it. Man if the people I see on side the road that pick up cans and s...

Or a 10-4893? I'm also in the process of a 520 conversion and just curious on these aircraft carb configs. Heard the ma4-5 4404 was the way to go myself.

Thanks, Gerald

Rare Continential Valve Covers

Anyone know of a site or place to look for valve covers for a 520 Continental. Looking for something different from what everyone else has. Can they be made custom from somewhere?
