Im glad you and your family are safe the boat will be fixed easily. As for flags they should be required on every vessel operated in any kind of vegitation.

Also ask Yobee were you blowing your whistle?

Re: IO-540 top end gasket set

Anybody know the best place to find a top end gasket set for a lycoming IO-540 D4A5 engine? We are removing all the jugs and overhauling them this summer and i'm having a hard time finding a set for the top end only (if there are any out there). If there is no set, anybody have a list of the ones w...

Re: suggestions going to the Glades

as for your issue with grey water tanks filling quickly you can always take a plastic 30 or 55 gallon drum with a way to hook the dump hose into it or they have the portable tanks that are flat and on wheels that you could use as an extra spot to get the water out of your tanks.

Re: suggestions going to the Glades

I know its not the glades but Loughmans in mims has a full resturant and dump station as well as lots with full hook ups except sewer. but the dump station is on sight. The gas station is only a few miles away and you will be about 15 miles from Titusville airport for avgas. There is a lot of great ...

This is a really easy design that can be adapted for our engines and used costs about 15 bucks total to build.

Re: walk in cooler

I have a complete 2hp 120v self contained commercial package unit (evaporator, fan, and condenser all in one and pre-charged) that would work fine for your application, and not wear out in year like a window unit probably would ( and by the way in my 15 years of selling and building walking coolers...

Gotta plan it out as its about 2-3 days drive. Don't know how your driving but I can make it from central Florida to central Nebraska in 2 solid hard days of driving by myself or in 24 hours with someone else driving. I'm planning to be there again this year. It was a time not to miss. The only thi...

Just to be clear any rudder art would need to be kid friendly I know CMB runs with his kids all the time as embarrasing as it might be for him to loose same could happen to Plum just as easily. It could be a draw too one might run better off the water and one might have a better 400ft run. We won't ...

I appreciate it. Sorry, I did not really give the best example of the question. I can understand how that will load up the nose of the boat instead of free it up. Still plannin on how were gonna go. Re: New air ride

I have looked very heavily into this setup for my new boat. I know Big Jake had to put 4 shocks on his boat because of the load of people on the boat. They are designed to handle around 1000 lbs. I don't know who Simpson's supplier is but the shocks match the ones that are designed for ford F250's i...

Re: Metalwork question

If what I understand from your question you want the rigging to have the front support forward like the full deck in the picture has instead of the supports coming back and into the middle of the hull. By doing this you will free up all the extra space under the rigging for other stuff. From the exp...
