Re: Engine Builders

Never delt with Mesa but progressive used to build out roundy round motors and we put a beating on them but they are costly.

Re: Can anybody help me to identify this starter?

you dont even have to take it off the boat. just unscrew the 2 small headed bolts on the back side and you can pull the guts right out of it. find out what your problem is and fix it. Literally a 10year old could work on that starter. dont be scared bud. just give it a try. Cheaper that way to. Yup...

Re: Can anybody help me to identify this starter?

I'm pretty sure it's a Toyota starter. Either a 80s model truck or an 81 Toyota Cressida. Have to change the bendix on them if you get it from the parts store from a 9 tooth to an 11 tooth. If its bad take it off and have it rebuilt or match it up at the parts store. The truck starter and Cressida a...

i'm also looking for some 11487 pistons if anybody has any
11487 is higher compression than 10207. Talk Gary Barber. He knows the combos.

Re: 540 oil pressure

What is your oil pressure running? Twister69 helped me with this same problem. Pull the relief and check for trash and or a deformity in the ball or seat. If they are good stack some washers behind the spring on the cap side. I am Switching mine over to adjustable.

Do you mean 10207? If so I think a bevel has to be cut on them.

Re: AR-15 build

I would like to strip a Walmart colt down to compare parts. Walmart only buys items a discounted price. Buy a rem 870 from Wally World an one from local gun shop. Walmart gun has plastic parts where the one from the gun shop has metal. Walmart aint buying unless they can get for atleast 5% less.
