Vento, show us a rock boat! Milsar (Shane?), I think there were 20-30 last year. It's 20 min from me, so if you want to come down and see a bunch of river, I'm off sat sun and Monday!

Hi guys:
Been away from
the computer for a while....

Ms. BOnnie and Painter CHic can tell any of you who want to come out -- that the BRAB is a great group
of folks and they will treat you right
! Have always wanted to come to the Memorial Day ride and am sure I
can next year ----

THis year, i'll be in the hospital and then rehab (NO, BB, not that kind of rehab) -- to get both of my NEW KNEES
ready to rock and roll. Look out -- BRAB -- you'll not recognize me when I can be frisky...

P.C. and I can vouch for two (or three) facts about riding with the BRAB and going out to their run:
1. IT's not that far from FLorida if you don't get lost a couple of times along the way! P.C> left M&Ms on
the side of the road so we could find our way back home.
They started in Orange, Tx - the home of the Air Ranger - which is right on the La. border...from there on
it was a straight shot back on I-10
2. The BRAB are the neatest group of guys and gals - they know where the ride and how to party
food was great, folks were incredibly sociable, music was sensational
3. It's pretty incredible scenery out their way and well worth the trip

YOu'll come back refreshed, relaxed and ready to drive out again!

Come one come all, if you plan on bringing a RV give us a buzz or PM...most spots are taking by now. Plenty of hotels and camping though!
Don't be scared to bring one of those pretty boats Shane, we wont leave a brother behind.....even if he rips the bottom out of it! LOL!

The BRAB is the host of the shin-dig.

It's a deck over boat with extra reinforcement and bracing from thensides and deck to the bottom of the boat with a sheet of stainless attached to the bottom instead of poly, we don't need em where I'm at they use them down south where there is rocks under the surface of the water. Around here we like our boats and don't look for ways to intentionally destroy them, and we use them to go where we need/want to. Personally I like mine to haul ass not barely break 30 mph like those barges y'all run. If your not "scarred" like you say build one that takes less than a mile to get on a plane

Running in Texas especially on the Brazos is different than any other water. It's 849 Miles of rock , quicksand, sandbar, mud, limestone shelf, logs, deep water and super shallow water.

Its FUN but its hard on a boat, we don't know anything else...you see most of us was raised round here and that's just the way it is. So before ya go poking fellas in the eye for doing what they have been raised to do .....in our own home water......well just dont do it.

Come run with us and I'll bet you have a LARGE time , learn about the BRAZOS and have memories to last a lifetime.

Before ya get all fouled up just admit P.Vento....you aint run it and dont know what your flappin your gums about......its happened to us all at one time or the other.

Behave and be good,
BB
