Loxahatchee boat ramp in 2A

Post by john1edwards » Sun Feb 02, 2014 9:09 am

My wifes nephew is visiting from South America. He is staying with relatives in Palm Beach. I was going to go over there and give him an airboat ride. The catch is I have never been riding in 2A I looked the Loxahatchee side on the saddle lite. looks like trees and deep water and tour boats. Does anyone have any advice. I know someone had put a map up on southern airboat, but couldn't find it.

Thanks :thumbleft:

When you goin? If your at lox and face the saw grass go left or south. Take that roughly 4miles there will be a slight right to take the 45 out to camps. It really would be easier to go saw grass rec park first time around. Then your on the way as soon as you leave plus you can see.

Hey John when you put in at lox, go to the south like MIKE Said. You can't help but run into some camps. What day are you going, maybe someone that knows the area can meet you and show you around.

There's always boats out there, and it's pretty hard to get lost, usually

False its easy to get lost if you don't know what your looking for. Antenna tower north is boat ramp. If you see power lines your south west. If you see cars on saw grass your east. If you don't see anything straight line 20mins south east and you'll see landmarks eventually
