How to register a boat with no paper?

Postby Uhairball » Thu Oct 05, 2017 4:51 am

Not an airboat, but found a runabout that was made and imported from Sweden. 1980's vintage. Little to no use.
Garage kept. Looks new. The boat is from an estate and has no paperwork, registration or title. Probably not
Coast Guard certified, and is 15' long. Would it be possible to get a Florida registration? How would it be done?
The estate lawyer can't provide paperwork. Thanks.

did you get bill of sale?
if so go to tag office and they will give you paperwork to contact fwc
fwc officer will come look at boat and do follow up and will give you forms to get title
takes awhile
