buggy height

Post by breastquest » Mon Apr 20, 2015 7:56 pm

Im getting my buggy closer to being finished and as it goes it gets bigger. Now its by no means as big as some of y'alls that I have seen but at a relaxed state I believe it will measure out at 11 feet to the highest point. Is there some tricks I need to do to make this thing fit the height requirements of pulling it down the road like making my seats removable? Will deflating the tires on the buggy make it scetchy going down the road? Any tricks or suggestions are appreciated

I don't have any suggestions other than having a set of stock size tires and wheels for trailering, but 11' is pretty darn high. What size tires are you running? I run 16.9 X 24 Goodyear R1 tires, and I think I'm right at 9'6"

If you can put it on a trailer 2-1/2' high or less you'll be okay, maximum legal height in 13'6". I would hate to have to change all four tires twice every time I took it out.

You should be fine. My buggy is 8' to the bottom of the deck and I do not have any issues. I pull mine with a deck over trailer. I will try to post a pic.

Mine is similar and I had to have a low profile trailer built.

but I got pulled and it measured out at 13-4.
