Always have a proper toolbox with a socket and wrench of each size hardware on the entire vessell, channel locks, vice grips, wire crimper tool, spare wire, wire connectors, duct tape, electrical tape, teflon tape, ultra black silicone, good tie wire, wire ties, a spare belt and fuel pump, fuel hose, a spare radiator cap, alumaseal radiator leak stop X2, a spare whistle, flashlight, sharp knife, lighter, waterproof matches and a hammer, machete, glowstick, compass and mirror.
Just to name a few of the items I always carry....

In order of importance, save yourself, save passengers, then save the boat. I learned to NEVER go airboating without a jacket or coat under the seat. No matter what the temperature is out.

I keep a lot of the stuff mentioned plus it's nice to keep a small tarp in the boat.. 10x10 folded and rolled takes up almost no space.. Well worth having in a storm!

That's right Kevin and a extra can of AV gas  true story though- I wouldn't doubt if my dad didn't have one in his angle valve boat! I think I saw a kitchen sink and an air compressor in the bow stow one day. He never lets me look in there though cuz he knows I'll make fun of him!
