No need to wonder who that guy voted for.

Is the moral,,, Buy a good trailer, KWAN?
I really don't get it on this forum, Unless you were waiting on that lucky ramp?

If your really bored there are some heavy tanker ships sinking, but also not sure how that applies to what not to do per KWAN.
Better posted as stupid asses at the ramp and kwan reposted it for amusement.

Many fine boats are carried on JUNK is my take from this! Plus maybe a mako can't take a wave in the ass? lol

Trailers have always been notoriously under maintained. Now that everybody wants their saltwater boats on aluminum trailers it’s even worse. They think “aluminum doesn’t ever rust” and don’t do anything to get the salt off.

Walk through the line of trailers at any saltwater ramp and look at how many aluminum trailers have tremendous pitting and corrosion build up where the u bolts mount to the cross beams and the axle or springs mount to the frame. It’s failure waiting to happen!

My current saltwater trailer was an abused aluminum frame I got cheap. They are easy to find. I welded plates over the holes from corrosion and welded the bunk mounts. Now nothing that gets wet is bolted except the torsion axle and I put a second layer of 3/16 aluminum between the aluminum frame and the steel axle mount. Even with that precaution, I still dunk it in fresh every tine I use it.
