Prop

Postby redgambler » Mon Jan 07, 2019 6:14 am

I'm setting up a sbc with a 2 to 1 reduction. Is there a best measurement to set the propeller from the transom? I have the whirlwind three blade gonna go on it. All I need to get is the three blade hub anyone got a used one out there. Should I start with the prop level with the pad?

The old rule of thumb was "a beer can in, and a beer can down from the back of the transom"

Using a beer shouldn't be a problem I got a few of them. Probably gonna have to buy a new hub though, wanted to buy a used one and save some miney
