Where to buy a new hub for my prop

Post by Scrapman123 » Mon Jun 04, 2012 2:52 pm

Hey guys, i have a 5 blade warp drive i am wanting to put on a continental o-300 but it has the hub that fits my o-540. My question is where do i buy a new hub for this engine? All the blades are good i just need a new hub. It needs to be the 8 hole pattern. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You need a prop adapter. All the boat manufacturers sell them.

I had to do the same thing when I switched over from a old wood prop on my cont 0-470 to a warp. What you are looking for is a "continental to lycoming adapter". After you take your 8 bolt adapter plate off you will see a 6 bolt pattern on your spindle. (See example here.. http://www.southernairboat.com/phpBB3/v ... 47&t=41394 ) Then you should need a adapter (Like this.. http://www.southernairboat.com/classifi ... =gpu&cat=7) and you should be ready to bolt your warp drive hub to the adapter. I think that is what you are asking, right? :)
