That sucks to drop a new wood prop and that happen, bet you were pissed for sure. But maybe that's a sign or something? Hell just have a little patience and watch the prop classified ads for a good deal on a carbon fiber. Seems with the new super duper NGQ that's going to take the top spot for a while is the cats azz. Should be some deals coming up. I saved up untill I could afford my carbon fiber prop and I've been more than happy with it.

That chip is a simple easy fix. Send it back to the manufacturer for repair. You won't be disappointed with the results. Do NOT run it like that.

The repair looks top notch but I'm just Leary of woody's that have been damaged and repaired? Maybe with some of today's technology and advanced materials it might be ok? I hope it holds up!! :old_glory: :florida: :rebel:

Thank god your in Tenn. The chances of one of my kids not getting killed due to your easy way out is far better now :thumbleft: :thumbleft: I have no probe with wood props or having them fixed but leave it to the manufactures. Someone is gonna be on your conscience one day because you didn't want to take the advice you asked for....hope you can handle it...

x2 This is a recurring theme with some folks.
At least ignoring engine related advice doesn't kill, maim or cripple people . . . .

I also agree with the earlier post about Thanking God you are in Tennessee.
Why ask questions, when you are going to disregard the input?
In this case, you've publicly documented your liability when and if someone gets hurt.

This is getting out of hand with the tempers flaring. Over heated threads risk being sent to Davey Jones Locker.
