Mullet in prop

Post by mwood7800 » Mon Jul 21, 2014 9:17 pm

I had a mullet go through my 3 blade q yesterday, it really made a small hole in the leading edge, I have had 30 or more through my warp with no damage, is this the norm with a carbon fiber q?

Don't know about the q, but I have had one mullet go through my whisper tip, and had one hole.

I chopped up a gar fish with my Q and didn't have any damage at all. Except my shorts.

30+ mullet through your prop? You know the warp and the Sensenich aren't supposed to be mounted on outboard motors right?

You guys know they make such a thing called a food processor? No need to crank the boat up to slice and dice! lol

Consequently my pops left a ratchet strap in the well one day, WAS NOT PRETTY! Gotta hand it to Whirlwind Props, wasted the blade but held together!
