Best low end push

Postby pgalmiche » Sun Oct 26, 2014 9:07 pm

I have a 496 fuel injected ,425 hp ,with 2.3 to 1 belt drive on a 15' diamondback. I am turning a 4 blade R , the boat doesn't feel like it pushes as good as it should on dry ground . I'm thing out going with a 3 blade R or a 3 blade 78" S any suggestions ? I also have 3 more boats with 3 blade S serious that run very good two are them have MAS motors and the other is a 502.

Try putting the 4 R on the MAS and the (3) S on the 496. JMO

That sounds like good, solid advice to me.

I'd think running a 4 blade R on a 425 hp motor would be a little over-exuberant.
