Question about rigging

Postby JGilch89 » Wed Feb 14, 2018 1:00 pm

I just purchased a 11x6 hull with a 0320 on it that has 26” stringers on it and I noticed most boats are 36 inch stringers is there anyway to build a sub frame to accommodate 36” stringers? I really don’t want to redo the rigging.

I’m looking at getting a 12x7 square nose hull and it has 36” stringers. And i really don’t want to build new rigging. Is there anyway to mount my rigging witch is 26” on it with some kind of sub frame?

I have seen some whee they added 2 New stringers to accommodate the rigging that didn’t fit.

I’m sure if you do as good of a job adding the stringers as the builder did originally, the only issue would be the additional weight.

If not.... :bom:
