What pays your bills?
Re: What pays your bills?
Oversee & participate in the CAD Dept. at Dittmer Architectural Aluminum. Been there 30 yrs. & feel real fortunate to work for a company that always seem to keep on cranking, whether the economy is healthy or not.

Re: What pays your bills?
Just celebrated my 13th anniversary with Black & Veatch a global engineering and construction corporation based in KC, MO. I am fortunate to currently be assigned to a power delivery project managed by our Orlando, FL office. I've been assigned to power delivery and telecommunications projects from Colton, CA to Baltimore, MD in those years. I thank God everyday to have a good job and pray for those who are struggling. I've worked my way into my current position through hard work and much personal sacrifice. Those here who regularly work away from home know what I mean. I just hope it will last.

Yacht Mechanic/ Yacht Captain. Right now I am doing my own thing fixing yachts but then I get an offer I can't refuse and go to work full time on a boat as captain. Been doing this on and off thing for the past 25 years. Even in the yachting industry with the very wealthy times are tight. I am glad to keep busy enough to pay the fuel bills on the airboat.

I am the guy that the contractors either love or hate to see because my job is to make sure the contractors are building the project per the Contract Drawings and specifications. This is a two way street we as a team work out conflicts on the site.
I also am very fortunite to meet a lot of good people that really to do good work and love to talk about airboats.

Own a small company on the gulf coast.I am certified in marine electronics and marine electrical.Am a dealer for Raymarine,Garmin,Furuno,KVH and a bunch more marine electronic firms.Business has been so slow I have to back up to find a dime. But I do see a little business starting to pick up in the larger yachts I work on.I have held a 100 ton Master's license for years with sailing and offshore endorsement.I finally let it expire as I wasn't using it any more.Bob
