The fishing is great down there. You will be close to Stump Pass. In my opinion, the best airboating is South of Placida. It can get a little hairy in the Intercoastal from where you will be down to the tressell. It's a beautiful place. Too bad Snook season just closed. The Trout and Reds will be good though. Good luck!

I run mine around Lemon Bay and out to Stump Pass once in a while. Stay in the shallows next to the mangroves. Lots of boat traffic on weekends. Prefer running Charlotte Harbor ,put in at El Jobean and run allthe way to Bull Bay etc. Good Luck

i fish here every weekend. And there r some many over slot reds an some slot size. u can just run ur boat an put a net in the water and catch ur limit in like 5min. if i were u. i would bring the airboat and fish the back flats & deep holes of catfish creek, boggs hole, and big creek. everything down here is on fire.BIG REDS, BIG SNOOK, MONSTER GATOR TROUT & an a bunch of men in gray suits u just shoot them when u run up on them Good luck
