R.I.P. Brothers ...

for those that have never checked it out ... do a search on the internet for American war deaths ... the numbers are staggering and shuld be sobering. You will be shocked if you take a few minutes to read and analyze the numbers ... if you are not ... well not much to say afterall this is AMERICA ..

so go ahead and do the search .. it only takes a few minutes .. and afterall somebody gave their whole life to be in the count
Don't waste your time ... it is the only thing you can't get more of
.. if it accidentally looks like I gave advice please ignore it .. and notify me immediately

Awesome Post :usa:

My Grandfather served in the Navy WW 2 Pacific Theater. His Ship a Marine Transport Ship was hit by a Japanese Kamikaze off of Okinawa, and had to limp back for repairs. My Grandfather who was in a Gun Turret at the time was thrown from the Turret and was Injured and received a Purple Heart.

My Dad served in the US Army WW 2 in the Philippines and Ocupation Of Japan.

They are both gone now but not forgotten, both are Burried in the Cemetary in Bartow.

Thank You to all Who Served and are Serving Our Country :old_glory:

Remember this Memorial Day... When you're eating your barbecue, smiling and laughing, that in another house somewhere, there is an empty chair where a Hero should be sitting. They gave up their life so that you can sit with your family. Please take a moment to think about those Heroes who did not make it home and those who are still serving around the world. RLTW

Stop for a moment on this Memorial Day and say a prayer for our military. A prayer for the souls of those we've lost, a prayer of thanks for those who served our country and came home. A Prayer for those serving presently, for their safety. Thank you to all military men and women! GOD BLESS!

KR23 wrote:Mood great post, but I have to disagree with you. These are not kids! When you sign that papper your a MAN. BOTTOM LINE! When I get some of these young men they are a world apart from someone the same age that dosent walk in there same shoes. It is amazing to watch 18-22 year old young men protect this country at all cost. For all us salty dogs that have been doing it for awhile it still amazes me that these young and woman show the strengh that do. RLTW
They're not kids until the walk in a liquor store. You can ship them off to a foreign land to get their asses shot off for oil but don't let them have a shot of Jack. FreeDumb.
