I was thinking about going the other way. Taking the LS1 out of my Chevelle to put on a boat.

This motor doesn't come alive till about 7,000RPM's That's truly about all she makes @5,500RPM's and if I sell it and someone buy's it and then they sell it and that person doesn't set it up to utilize the combination they can't bad mouth me because it will perform just like a 420HP motor @ 5,500RPM's just as I stated! See I gotta cover myself for what might happen 6 years from now! I did have somebody put on of our 550HP in a truck and it's first pass on motor with a nitrous gear was in the 10's! If they negotiate a amount before the race I will loan him the motor!

Every aircraft guy on the board has a 220 groundpower that would smoke that thing in any street car...

Why is every one always ragging on Dave and his motors? I haven't seen to many people out there race his unlimited motor and win by a mile. Not to mention I tried to find some one who owns one of his motors to say something bad about them, I couldn't find one soul to do so.
Just because it only make 420hp at 5,500 doesn't mean it's at the end of it's power curve. It just means after 5,500 it doesn't really matter what it makes if your putting it on a boat. JMO

Dont take me as ragging, im tired of hearing every a/c guy with a pe90 who can smoke any cm boat and run the hill twice as long. And if they cant do that then it is still better because it doesnt have a gearbox or radiator lol. What? 5 threads in the last 2 days about the hierarchy of generators. Me... I dont care, id love a little 11 foot deckover 4 cylinder. Im also pretty happy with my open deck, 4 seat, stroked and geared smallblock. Only reasons i dont want one of daves motors is cause im too hands on and enjoy learning about everything i can...and im broke

Maybe a typo, and the HP after the 420 should read CI.
