Thanks everybody for honoring Jason Goode on Saturday

Saturday was a very emotional day for us that were close to Jason. His family are lifetime airboaters but have never been to the spot where Jason flipped the boat. His family asked me to describe how everything went down so they could see the exact spot and how it all occured. It gave them some closure that they have needed for 5 years. Jimmy and the other Fire Fighters did a wonderful job with the memorial they built. THANK YOU!!! It was especially special to me because in my head and several other guys this was also a ride in memory of Chad Lakosky. Chad was a close friend of Jasons. Chad and I were attacked and stabbed one night. Chad was murdered on December 13 six years ago at a camp in the Everglades. It brought back memories riding alongside Jasons dad and seeing Chads boat pull up next to me at the Tower. It felt like I was riding with my friends again.......

That ride was a well thought and rounded accomplishment for Jason, as well as his family. I loved being there with my wife and kids, all went very well and the kids had a good day to. My thanks to all who attended and where involved, if even by just being there as a show of support and moral fortitude from the gladesman community to the Goode family.
