geoff,she's at bert fish hospital in new smyrna bch.shrimp lady she.s doing better,today they put a second tube in her left lung to remove fluid.she is still in guarded condition,with a nurse sitting right outside her doorway,and boy does she give them a hard time.the nurse tonight couldnt give me much more info.about whats next for her treatment,I believe they will move her into a regular room when she gets more stable.hopefully in the next day or two.the hand does not seem to be an issue anymore.Queenie said to tell everyone thanks for the prayers and concern,and she cant wait to go out on the airboat again,again thank yall..Jr

I talked to JR just a little bit ago. Queenie is out of ICU and in a regular room. She is still improving. Don't stop now. Lets pray her right on out of there. That's some good people for a fact.

Thanks again everyone,she was moved to a regular room sun. evening,but this morning her white blood cell count was very high,meaning the infection is getting worse,so they put her on vancomicin,a very powerful antibiotic.It's the same stuff they had her on when she caught MRSA staff a few years ago.The Dr. isn't sure if they are going to do surgery yrt or see if the medicine can handle it,she appreciates yall's concern.KJC she said the flowers are beautiful you sent,and tellyou thank you.Tess and mrs Carroll she really appreciated yall coming so far out of your way to see her.hey daryl now she has the whole dang hospital thinking that she drives me around on the boat.again thanks .JR

I talked to Junior Sunday afternoon and he said Queenie responded well to the high horse power antibiotics and they sent her home finally.
