May his spirit slide forever over the grass with ease and may his memory live with those fortunate enough to call him friend. Terrible, terrible news.

Thank you everybody for expressing your thoughts and concerns for our family.

My Brother loved all of you so much. I cant believe he is gone. He lived and breathed for his Airboat and the Airboating Community.

We will keep everybody updated on memorial services. He would want nothing more to be spread over the Everglades and Im doing everything I can to make sure that happens for him.

I only met him 4 or 5 times. The very first time I was struck by his eyes. You look him in the eye, and you instantly new something about him. It's hard to get the exact right words for this feeling, but it was like his eyes 'smiled' by themselves. And it was a warm smile that said "Welcome, glad to be your friend".

This is a sudden and shocking loss for us all, but prayers and condolences being sent out for his family and loved ones who have surely been affected by this loss so much greater than us mere acquaintances. Rest in Peace Ford.

Matt & Laura.
