Thanks to all that came to HATM

Post by HuntingBigun » Sun Jan 02, 2011 10:21 pm

It was great to see everyone this weekend, the lake was full of groups of 30 boats hitting the water. glad got to meet some new faces. We were blessed with great weather, great folks & the only sad note was my buddy Bravo was not there, he was at every event CFASC put on and always had a smile so my prayers are with him & his family. Hit the link below for my pics .

See ya soon

Howl 2010 was TERRIFIC, Wayne.

Great folks having Fun, Chamber of Commerce weather, airboating for every airboat - regardless of engine. Very hard to improve on this one.

One highlight ---Our Gal Jean West aka: "Grits" showing the Pimp Gobbler' Posse that a bone stock GPU can hang with the Big Ol' 0-540s ...

Loads of boats scattered all across KCOL with no problems or casualties.

Thank You for a Great Time!!!!!

Can not thank everyone enough ... EVERYONE...... Got to meet alot of folks that I missed the last run... That sealed the deal for us !!! We are gonna attend the meeting this Saturday for the FAA and going to fill out an application for the KRVSA ( if they will have us   )... Y'all throw a helluva party !!!!!!! Would be proud to be a part of both organizations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clubs like this that have multiple rides, do positive things for the airboating community, and have the caliber of folks that we meet each time have my vote every day of the week and twice on Sunday !!!!!!!!!!

Nomad: Thanks for the tour and the hotdogs !!! Your the best
Bishop: Thanks for the quick talk about FAA on Obama Ridge Saturday night. See you Saturday !!
Painterchic: Your water painting secret is safe with me.....
GRITS: Your still my wife's HERO, a pleasure to run with ya
Nick: That 0-540 runs awsome !!!!!
FAA/KRVSA: For the unbeliveable gator tail, chicken, and SMOKIN' Baked beans Friday night!!!!!!!
The couple on the camo full deck: I'm sorry, can't not remember your name, thanks for riding with us
And all the others that we had the pleasure to meet.. See you at the next ride !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DONT ARGUE WITH STUPIDITY...THEY WILL JUST DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL, AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.....

Thank you Wayne and Julie for inviting us! We had a great time!
We do have to ask---just after the shotgun blast, then the mud bath-who was that man that could walk on water getting away? Hope that wasn't the initiation to the club.

A few things that you can't tell unless you've seen this place:

You can't tell by video or pics but it's wicked steep.

The drop off on the back side is steep and deep.

The crest to get stopped on is about 36"....
