haven't been down that way in a while.went by today and it's cut in half,the whole top half is gone,it was kinda cool,stop by bs have a drink then roll on.now it looks like dog shiii. i'm guessing that the scappers got ahold of it.i hope not , alum. don't pay shiii .bet they didn't get 50 bucks and ruined it :evil:

I haven't been there in a while but the last time i was the roof was still there and part of the wings. Probably scrappers like you said.

The rudder was canvas and rotted away.they have been cutting pieces for a couple years now.53 cents a pound

a friend of mine is a retired sheriff,he was in charge of the task force that busted the guys running drugs in that plane.he's proud of his work and that plane helped keep his memorys alive.now that they're doing that,well what can i say,i just think it's a shame.

This is a pic of the crashed plane in Istokpoga when it was still in the fleet of Tag Airlines. The plane crashed May 1, *2001 and, according to NTSB report, the pilot fled the scene and was never interviewed. *1981

Was this plane SE of the airport within a mile or so of the airport. I remember taking off towards the SE from Sebring on a training flight somewhere in the area of 1984 and saw an aircraft on the ground. In fact I thought I saw two that day.
