*AIRBOAT STOLEN*

Post by GatorChaser »

A Christmas Riverboat Assoc member Airboat was stolen last night from Seminole county. Ted Davis's boat was stolen from Chuluota out of his front yard. The boat was still hooked to his truck. They removed it and away they went. Ted is a Awesome man and does not deserve this. The boat is a 12'6 x 7 diamond back with Wally Moore Continental 520 on it. It has stainless rigging and black rudders. Any info of the were abouts or the Scumbags that did it call Seminole county sherriffs office. Or me Jerry Flynn at 321-231-1685. Or Ted at 407- 948- 5967.

The motor is a 470-13a model...converted to 520 the mags come out the front towards rear seat, dry sump no oil pan. The boat also has a powershift prop and was on a galvanized Ramline trailer. Ted's my neighbor and the boat was there when Sara and I came in from the river at 3:30 this morning.

Really hate to hear this happened.Especially to someone like Ted. I remember he jumped in the water at catfish one day and grabbed my rain covers that someone blew off the front of my boat. I am definitely keeping my eyes and ears open. The woods ain't that big. These scumbag lowlifes need to be caught and Ted have his boat returned.Rob Deaton's boat was stolen in Chuluota several years ago too. Similar situation. Could be the same ones that are responsible.
What do you mean the waters low and it's too dry?...You got an airboat!...ACT LIKE IT!!!!

I was supposed to meet Ted at the Bluff yesterday to give him some parts that I sold to a friend of his but I was shocked after calling him and learning what had happened. We will keep are eyes out here in the Cocoa area for sure. Ted is the kindest person I know and he doesn’t need this crap :angry5:

For people who don't know him or the boat it would really be good to have FL #'s,HIN # and decent pictures. Its all well an good he's a great guy. But that won't help the thousand of airboaters across the state.Who don't know the boat. Better information will help
