Toyota Tacoma, 6 cyl. It tows up to 6500 pounds, and gets ok gas mileage for a pickup. It has about 70K miles and nothing has ever broke. Wicked fast too.

local I use my 03 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 5speed it gets 22mpg when not towing and 11 with the boat behind it.when going out of town I use the 07 dodge 2500 ram hemi TRX4 off road pak.its got a leveling kit,flowmaster exhaust,and 315 75 17 bfg all terrains.it gets 18mpg without the boat and 13 with it.

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 2500 4x4 with the 5.9L Diesel. It has 35" BFG Mud T/A's and a Superchip programmer. It gets about 20mpg average unloaded and about 15mpg towing the boat at 75 mph. I am gonna keep this truck a long time.

yeah you are right Yobee , I am a little tarded that way. really who cares how you get the boat to the water as long as you get there safe and not stuck on the side of the road, it is all good .
