Mike, I was thinking that we would use that area, unless you found out that we cannot.

30% chance of rain. Might not be a bad idea to bring rain gear just in case

If you all need someone to volunteer their time that weekend let me know. I don't care if it is working in a parking lot off 27 or Lox Road. Just let me know...
Batch; I'm the owner of Old Glory Camp where lunch will be served, 6 miles east of the stub canal ramp. I will see to it that you get a ride to camp for lunch in turn for you're service at the ramp. The sooner you get there the better. Smart people will be getting there by 6:00 AM.
We need to suggest that airboaters launch then park accross 27 in the lot on the west side of 27. Hopefully some one will help shuttle them back to their boats to load veterans and clear the ramp for other boats. Thank you ahead for you're help for our veterans that gave so much.
We need to leave the stub canal ramp open for the veterans to park.

To the boaters out of stub canal, head due east to the tree head 6 miles . All are welcome to stop for directions if needed. All are asked to meet at the Hilton/ Judges camp as soon as possible for breifing/routing plans for the day. Sir Mike will be the coordinator in charge.
A big thanks to Mike for initiating this event.
A super thanks to SGT RON HILL for devotion to the Veterans that gave us the freedome to do this. I have 3 hats and I take them all off to you !!!

Gerald,

My brother mentioned he might come out and help shuttle captains back and forth.

I asked to help for the Heroes. I have wanted to volunteer for them for a long time. This gives me a chance to help in a small way.

If I get a ride out to camp. Well, I ain't gonna lie. I'll be the one with a grin and gas money to chip in.

My reason to be on this forum to begin with is to learn about airboats so that once I save up enough to buy a beater. I might have a chance at getting the right boat for me. So, I will already be rewarded in return for just getting to talk airboats with the guys at the ramp.

I just hope that stupid storm keeps its feeders off of the day.
