Frogging areas west side of lake okeechobee?

Post by Kpeterson »

Planning on running around on the lake this weekend if the wind from this storm lets me, and wanted to take my stepfather out to get him out of the house for a while. I've been going out of Harney pond and twins palms back in the marsh with very little success. If anyone has any secret spots or suggested areas to run around I appreciate the info. Thank you all.

I've been out a few times in the last couple of weeks here in BelleGlade an I have not seen hardly any. I will be glad when that changes I'm just about ready for a mess of legs on the dinner table 8)

I've been all over east of dyess ditch, I duck hunted out there last year and went all the way to the pump station. Then rode the tree ditch to Harney pond canal and rode around all over there. Havnt tried sportsmans yet there were too many people going after gators for me to go disturbing the area. I'll be out this weekend looking again ill try the spoil islands and do some exploring. Let you know what I find. And I did see a lot of small frogs. But I leave them alone :)
