Miss Nancy

Does anyone know how Miss Nancy (Buds widow) is doing and if she's still at the same address?

She is doing as well as can be expected for her age. She is still at the same address, and her son lives there and takes care of her needs and drives her around. She misses Bud of course, but has mostly good days.

Rick, could the airboaters send her a Christmas card (maybe with some flowers and a Publix gift card) for Christmas?
I've got a $20 bill that's burnin' a hole in my pocket!!

She loves to get cards from folks that belong to SA. I try to remember to send her one every Christmas. I know a number of others on this site do also. A little something extra always helps. She always sends a card or letter back. If anyone needs her address, PM me. I think Nomad, John C, Whitebear, and a few others may have it also.

Wife and I send her a christmas card every year. If you do remember she's old fashion. She will write a thank you card and mail it to you. I put a little something in the cad for her. So its not a burden. This year it will be a Publix gift card.

I just got the sweetest Christmas card from Mrs. Nancy! She took the time to write me quite a long letter in it too. She apparently has been in the hospital at some point lately because she tried to get between a couple of her cats that were fighting, and she got the brunt of it. She's healing slowly but it sure sounds like it got infected by the way she describes it... As in they had to cut her leg open to the bone and put in a drain... But she seems in pretty good spirits overall, just lonely... I would love to go see her the next time I get down to South Florida and just sit and chat with her for a while... I think that would make her day... (and mine too truthfully! ) So I encourage all who can address an envelope to send her a quick note and just let her know we're thinking of her, I know she would love it and it would certainly brighten her day...

Didn't know Bud or do I know Miss Nancy, but if Rick can set up it where I can give I would love to help make a brighter Christmas for Miss Nancy. Thats the least we can do for this Lady.

Anyone know how she's doing?

She is doing well considering her age, only goes out to the Drs office, She spends time on the front porch,much like Bud used too.
Any kind of card or letter would cheer her up. She keeps Don busy running to different stores for groceries, etc. She has been doing well health wise all things considered.
