DJLeRoy, that's one of the prettiest Cloningers I've seen in a while. Nice ride. :thumbleft:

Do you know if anyone kept his pattern after his passing? Just wondering if anyone down south is still doing his hull with a stainless wrap on the bottom.

Wacahoota, Jamie used to build boats with Wayne Hubbard. Him, my dad and some other guys I'm told we're always at the shop helping him and using his shop. I remember when I was a little guy sitting at the shop watching them all build boats. If you look at hubbards hulls, there built stout and true, like Jamie's hulls. Many of the same characteristics. Wayne Hubbard passed a lot of what he knows about building boats to Derek Eaker of D&E Metal works. His designs are a little more up dated, but a lot of the infrastructure is the same. Times have changed and no one is crawling coral rock anymore (thanks to the communist of the NPS) so the boats have evolved a little more. Grown lighter and longer. But if you wanted a full wrap steel boat like a cloninger, Derek would be your best bet.
